Do you shut down for rain?

Our gondolas are fully enclosed, so rain won't put a damper on your day. If rain is in the forecast, we recommend bringing an umbrella or raincoat to keep you dry while you wait. SkyStar does operate in rain and fog. In case of inclement weather, please visit our Facebook page for real-time updates.

Can we bring outside food/beverage?

We do not allow outside food/drinks in the gondolas. If you’d like to have a picnic before or after your ride on the Wheel, we recommend getting takeout from one of the great local restaurants in the neighborhood.

How long does a ride last?

General admission rides are 9-12 minutes, and our VIP experience is about 20 minutes.

What are your rider restrictions?

There are no restrictions pertaining to weight, height, or age.

Is SkyStar wheelchair accessible?

Our standard gondolas have limited wheelchair access. If access to our wheelchair ramp is needed, please notify the greeter know before proceeding to the queue line. Please note our VIP gondola is not wheelchair accessible.

Are pets allowed?

Only service dogs are allowed inside the gondolas.
